Mail Art

Writer's picture: Nathifa SimonNathifa Simon

I wanted to try out my new Dylusions stencils I

bought from Michaels on my trip to America so

I decided to do a bit of mail art.

The sprays I used where made from food dye.

and they are quite vibrant and bright but are

water soluble so will run if wet medium touches

it a bit like cheap dylusions sprays.

I took step by step pictures of my process and

I used the pink spray through a stencil I made.

I used the orange and yellow spray through one of the dylusions stencil.

I pressed the dylusions stencil on the envelope to remove the sprays.

I used the green spray through a dylusions stencil.

I used stazon ink to stamp a few designs randomly.

I added a border and circled a phrase using black india ink and a calligraphy ink.
