#ChallengeArtJournal Series Pastels #3 - Prompt Under the Sea

So here's the third pastel page for our challenge art journal series prompt under the sea.

For this page I chose to use soft chalk pastels and sketch a mermaid on a rock looking out to sea I used a reference photo I found on Pinterest (link below).

I really enjoyed using the soft pastels yet again I love how forgiving it is if I make a mistake I just blend it into the background done! I absolutely love how my little mermaid came out and think it would be cool to do her in watercolour as well.
